Every year we throw a party. But this year? We gave it a name.
KoffeeNight was born. And like any newborn, it was loud, chaotic, and full of joy (minus the nappies, thankfully).
We gathered on a rooftop & café in the heart of London, surrounded by partners, clients, and our extended Koffeecup family.
The goal: absolutely no work talk after 6pm *wink wink*.
The result: a glorious mix of live jazz, dancefloor chaos, and suspiciously competitive karaoke.
Swing It Real Good
This year’s musical mayhem came courtesy of Vintage Swing Thing, who showed up in full force and full flair. Think Postmodern Jukebox, but they’re in the room with you! They were amazing and great to work with. People did prioritise the sun on the terrace in the beginning, but towards the end the dancefloor was full of Charleston attempts. Our Kasia and José did a remarkable salsa choreo to one song—that was amazing to look at and everyone cheered them as if we were at an English football match!
Hoomanz! Hands-On
Tucked between the DJ and the bar, we set up a little surprise: a playtest station for our upcoming game, Hoomanz!.
Curious guests got their hands on the custom-designed Hoomanz controller and were dropped straight into planet Erf that’s been invaded by Hoomanz and you must scare them away.
Some were naturals and some got hugged way too many times.
Huge shoutout to everyone who played, asked questions, broke things, or just said “That’s adorable!” Your feedback—and your unfiltered shrieks—were golden. We also had some of you try our Gunslinger MR in action in the Meta Quest headset!
Grazing Glory
We ate very well. Our friends at GRAPE and Fig returned to bless us with a spread that looked like it was curated by a Renaissance painter with a cheese obsession.
And yes, we brought back the infamous cronuts. Some traditions are too delicious to die.
Karaoke: A Case Study in Confidence
No one had to sing. And yet… so many did. Some song choices were, uhm, overly ambitious but the crowd was very supportive and chipped in with the borrowed vocal strength of a hussites choir. There was one exceptional performance in particular that legit left everyone with goosebumps, a magnificent 10/10 rendition of “Writing's On The Wall”. The night ended with the entire room bopping away at “Lose Yourself” as if we were taken straight out of the 313.

Until Next Time…
KoffeeNight 2025 reminded us of something important: behind all the projects, calls, and creative chaos, we’re just a bunch of people who really love what we do—and occasionally love belting out “It’s My Life” after a beer or six.
Thanks to everyone who came, danced, sang, tried out our upcoming game “Hoomanz!” or silently judged the dance moves from the snack table (and that’s okay too). We’ll see you next year.
Same vibe. New stories. More karaoke.
