Hoomanz! Speedrun Challenge — Terms & Conditions

Hey speedy Hoomanz! Before you dash off and terrorize those critters, here’s the small print (but fun-sized) to make sure everything runs smoothly:

👶 Who Can Enter?

  • Anyone aged 13 or older can join the fun! If you’re under 18, you’ll need a parent or guardian’s permission.

  • The contest is open worldwide, but shipping physical prizes may depend on regional restrictions.

  • Employees, contractors, or affiliates of Koffeecup (and their immediate families) can’t enter.

🗓️ Deadline to Enter

All entries must be submitted by the published closing date. Anything after that won’t be counted.
Submissions deadline: 20th October, 23:59 BST.

🎨 How to Enter

  • Submit your speedrun through the official contest form with video proof (YouTube unlisted/listed, Vimeo, or other hosting platforms are fine as long as we can see it clearly).

  • Multiple runs are allowed, but only your fastest valid run will count.

  • Videos must clearly show both the gameplay and an external timer (like LiveSplit) visible throughout the entire run.

🏆 Prizes

  • Prizes will be awarded as described in the competition announcement.

  • Winners will be contacted directly using the details provided at entry.

✍️ By Entering, You Agree:

  • Your run is your own gameplay recording (no tool-assisted speedruns or spliced runs).

  • You grant Koffeecup the right to repost, share, and feature your entry on our website, socials, or in promotional content.

  • If your run is selected as a winner, you agree to it being shared in highlight reels or showcases.

  • You’re okay with us contacting you to arrange prize delivery or permissions.

🚫 We Might Disqualify Your Entry If:

  • Your video isn’t clear enough to verify your run.

  • You use cheats, hacks, or otherwise manipulate the game outside normal play.

  • It’s hateful, offensive, or otherwise not in the spirit of fun.

  • It’s submitted after the deadline or without proper video/timer evidence.

  • It breaks community guidelines.

📦 The Boring Logistics Bit

  • We’ll do our best to ship prizes, but delays, customs charges, or regional restrictions may apply.

  • Once a prize is shipped, responsibility passes to the winner.

  • No cash alternatives.

  • Koffeecup isn’t responsible for missed or failed entries caused by internet outages, platform glitches, or mistyped form links.

⚖️ The Serious Bit (a.k.a. Legal Stuff)

By entering, you agree that:

  • Koffeecup has the final say on judging, selection, and prize decisions.

  • We reserve the right to modify, extend, or cancel the contest if needed at any time. Changes will be made clear on our Discord and the announcement post, together with these T&Cs, will be updated accordingly.

  • Entrants must comply with local laws and regulations.

  • Any disputes will be handled under the laws of England and Wales, through the courts of the United Kingdom.
