Emily Davison

Lead 3D Artist

Emily is a Game Art graduate who began her career in the technical trenches of 3D scan cleanup before climbing the ranks from Artist to Art Manager to Lead. Her portfolio includes stints on major IPs like Angry Birds, Zombieland, and Zombie Army, which gave her a solid foundation in the art of virtual world-building.

At Koffeecup, Emily is a Lead 3D Artist. This means her day-to-day involves a delicate balance of managing people and pixels: line-managing the art team, guiding career growth, checking model setups, and mapping out our long-term 3D project strategies. She is a big fan of the craft itself, genuinely loving the hidden development tricks that make a game work, and she firmly believes you can always tell when a piece of software was built by people who genuinely care.

When she isn't working from home (a perk she highly approves of), Emily reads every day and uses her professional 3D modelling skills to meticulously map out her interior design plans. She stays in touch with friends via casual multiplayer games, though she will happily abandon all real-world responsibilities if a major new release catches her eye. She lives with two guinea pigs, Cotton and Bud, and a cat named Maya - a nod to the industry-standard 3D software that her colleagues will immediately recognise.
