Éloïse Réthoré
Game Designer
Éloïse is a Riviera native who ventured to Lyon to study game design before jumping headfirst into the industry. After a formative stint designing racing games, she joined the ranks at Koffeecup, noting that she appreciates an environment that is constantly evolving rather than sitting comfortably on its laurels.
In practice, her job is to ensure our games are engaging - or, as she puts it, "to make sure the game is fun." This involves taking abstract concepts, putting them into actual words so the developers and artists are on the same page, and making sure the final product matches the vision. When she isn't wrangling game systems, she's usually feeding a massive 243-game Steam library. She will play almost anything, provided it doesn't involve jump scares or psychological horror.
Outside of the digital realm, Éloïse leans heavily into creative outlets like cooking, graphic design, and 3D work. She also serves as the designated prankster among her friends. Home life is managed alongside Uupsi, a fluffy white dog who functions as a high-curiosity, high-chaos companion.
Koffee: Still, pink, strictly after midday, and preferably in a very tall glass.
