Digital Archery at Waterloo Station

Three game platforms were installed at the station for five days. Contestants queued for a chance to play by registering through a custom iPad application we built. Contestants were told it was their turn to play when their name and photo appeared on the screen in front of the available bow. This eliminated the need for physical queues in a busy train station.

We modified fitness bows to create a custom game interface. Players aimed and shot using an Android application we developed. The Android’s screen was a window into a full 360 degree playing environment that was synchronised with the target that appeared on the large screen in front of the virtual archery range.

Players contact info and scores were stored on a custom CMS. The data from the CMS populated a dynamic leaderboard that was displayed between rounds.
